I am using Microsoft Excel and I want to plot a line through multiple series of data accurately without using the drawing tool. Preferably i want to choose the 3 points the line runs through on the 3 sets of data. I already have 3 line graphs on the same axis and this is the axis where i want the line to be placed. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
p.s to be more precise the data is on indifference curve analysis.

Sounds like you want to have a nice curved line connecting your data points. To do this in Excel 2003 and below:
1)Right-click on your chart (in the white space, not on the graph itself or on the titles) and select "Chart Type".
2)In the popup dialog window, in the "Chart Type" box choose "XY (Scatter)". In in the "Chart Sub-Type" box choose an option that is "connected by smooth lines".
This will make for a nice printable indifference curve. If you would like to get an actual formula for the curve, producing a more complex, high-ordered polynomial "Trendline" should do the trick (write to me if you need this, or if you need specific instructions for Excel 2007).
Also, some parts of your question were unclear, so if I didn't answer your question, please let me know. (It almost sounds like you have 3 sets of data, each with 3 data points, and each set of data points has its own trendline... and you want to create one line to describe these three sets of data points. Is this the case?)
