So I met this boy Drew two years ago then I recently saw him again at a church function this weekend. It was strange running into him there but we talked. It was an all night thing and all through the night we talked ie: flirted. We stared into each others eyes alot and talked about so many things. He says he has never been open like that with a girl. Now what the problem is...is that he does notice that we made a very fast connection and we had something between us. He admitted it. We spent 4 hours straight just talking. BUT....He is a sophomore and i'm graduating high school...he thinks we shouldnt go out cuz it is long distance and he thinks he will be a distraction to me. I rarely get distracted and have had relationships in Penn. I'm in jersey. It worked for awhile. I'm willing...what should I do? I really like him and.

I'm a psychology major so I have some experience in this. Sweetheart, you DO NOT want to be dating someone in high school when you are already done with high school. Yes, you may have had some chemistry with him, but a little chemistry does not build a fulfilling relationship. Long distance relationships are extremely difficult to keep going, and since he is so much younger than you he probably will not have the emotional maturity to keep it together. I understand that you like him and that this is very difficult for you, but you must realize the seriousness of starting any sort of a relationship with someone who is so much youunger than you.
Hope this helps.
