Earlier this morning i was admitted to the emergency room because i thought i was having a heart attack. My pulse rate was extremely high and i have been having palpitations quite freqently (probably for a year now and sometimes they are very extreme), very noticeable ones where i feel like my heart is going to pop out of my chest or burst. This is all on the left side of my chest, and my left arm has been numb and tingly all day. Also a numb feeling leading up from my heart to my left ear along my neck. If anyone has any information on these symptoms that would be great, since i was checked out i know it was not actually a heart attack. Possibly anxiety, but i don't see how numbness of the heart would relate to that, unless its just my heart being numb from being under so much stress all day. My heart rate was 156 when i arrived at emergency. I'm a 16 year old femail, 5'7 with no known medical issues that could be related besides a slight iron defficiency, although there is a history of heart disease in my family but not at such a young age.
